Earn your Wind Industry Transport Professional Advanced Certification (WITPAC) through Evergreen Safety Council!
WITPAC is designed for Pilot Escort Vehicle Operators (PEVOs), commercial drivers, and steerpersons who transport wind turbine components. This instructor-led course follows nationally recognized industry standards and prepares participants to safely support oversize wind energy transportation projects.
This course is designed for both students earning WITPAC certification for the first time and students renewing a current WITPAC certification.

✅ Before You Book
To earn a WITPAC certification, you must have one of the following:
A current Pilot Escort Vehicle Operator (PEVO) certification from one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, Washington
AND a valid driver license issued by a U.S. state or Canadian province.
OR
A valid Class A (U.S.) or Class 1 (Canada) Commercial Driver License (CDL), or a federal Mexican LFC (see details here).
Students who do not meet these certification requirements are welcome to attend the course and will receive a Proof of Completion instead of WITPAC certification.

Course Format
🧑💻 Part 1: Online Prep Course (required for new students only)
After registering, you will automatically be enrolled in the online self-paced prep course.
The prep course provides the foundational knowledge you’ll need before participating in the instructor-led class. Before attending your live class, you must:
Complete the online prep course.
Pass the prep course assessment.
Students renewing a current (not expired) WITPAC certification are not required to complete the prep course.
🧑🏫 Part 2: Instructor-Led Online Class (required for all students)
This instructor-led course is held live using Zoom.
To participate, you will need:
A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a working camera, microphone, and speakers.
Your required driver license or PEVO/CDL documentation available during class.
Instructions for joining your class will be included in your confirmation email.

WITPAC Materials are digital ONLY. After registering, you’ll be able to download the student materials from our website.
🪪 Certification Requirements
To earn your WITPAC certification, you must:
✅ Complete the required online prep course (if applicable)
✅ Attend the entire instructor-led course.
✅ Successfully pass the certification exam with a score of 90% or better.
Students who do not meet the certification eligibility requirements will receive a Proof of Completion after successfully completing the course.
