Earn you Wind Industry Transportation Professional Advanced Certification (WITPAC) with HASC!

Become WITPAC certified through HASC, an Evergreen Safety Council-approved WITPAC training provider.

WITPAC is designed for Pilot Escort Vehicle Operators (PEVOs), commercial drivers, and steerpersons who transport wind turbine components. This instructor-led course follows nationally recognized industry standards and prepares participants to safely support oversize wind energy transportation projects.

✅ Before You Book

To earn a WITPAC certification, you must have one of the following:

  • A current Pilot Escort Vehicle Operator (PEVO) certification from one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, Washington

AND a valid driver license issued by a U.S. state or Canadian province.

OR

  • A valid Class A (U.S.) or Class 1 (Canada) Commercial Driver License (CDL), or a federal Mexican LFC (see details here).

Students who do not meet these certification requirements are welcome to attend the course and will receive a Proof of Completion instead of WITPAC certification.
